You can go to another lord/noble and try to sell them the mercenaries I tried it with a few nobles and it worked, i guess you need good charm or something, but its possible #2. There was a mod to fix it, the author mentioned it was to do with a bug with quests which reward you with honour: instead of adding the honour to 1, it just adds it to 0 so resets the honour you got from character creation. I've recruted a few clans to my Kingdom through the skill check minigame. But i'm wondering if there is any mechanic where lords will ask to defect, or join you straight out if their kingdom is destroyed.
