I get the sentiment but I suppose I just take a more causal view of the game. I enjoy it a lot but I don’t strictly play it as if it was in real life. Sometimes I run red lights if I get impatient. If I ever get a wheel, pedals, and 3 monitors / VR googles then I’d probably adopt a more serious simulation experience
There is no light in the cabin, just the dashboard lights. There isn't any cabin lights that I'm aware of unless its a modded truck and most of the time the cabin light on mods is linked to the main light switch. I believe there's cabin lights included in RJL's Scania mod. There are no cabin lights in the truck. You can not do that Unless you have one of the DLCs that allow you to mount lighting in the back of your cabin. These LED lights are on when you start the engine. It works when: 1. You start your engine (no matter what time, but they are subtlte lights, so hard to notice daytime) 2. "Seconday lighting" option must be "ticked" in your graphics settings.

I've noticed in some mods the F4 cabin adjustment. popup that lets you adjust lights on roof and front, has no effect on whether or not the lights actually light up the road ahead. In particular this seems to occur with the front grill lights on low beam. One truck mod I have seems particularly broken in this respect.
