When I arrived back home I checked my engine with my cheap plug and play code reader, no codes stored. seemed okay, until 2km’s down the road she went to pull out of a junction and CLUNK. Something went, not sure what but the engine light and EPC light came on. Violent shudder like the car was stalling and it felt like car had forgotten how to change gears. What is worth noting is that I had it in 2 days ago to get 4 new spark plugs. has anybody used skoda assistance.do they come out to you and can they tell you the fault there and then. Now i know EPC is electronice power control, so obviously it must be an electrical fault. what are the common faults with the epc. i read in a thread that could be coils. hopefully its not to serious. anybody any ideas
